National Geographic Internships salary

The National Geographic Society, a science-based organization, abides by the recommendations of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and public health authorities.

All NGS personnel must be completely immunized against COVID-19, including booster shots, in order to protect their health, safety, and overall well-being. However, they may request an exemption if they have a valid medical condition or a true religious conviction.

Every year, the National Geographic Society accepts applications for National Geographic Internships from undergraduate and graduate students who desire to experience both travel and education.

The National Geographic Society’s internship program strives to inspire, educate, and create lasting relationships while also giving participants a wealth of professional experience through frequent events with staff members, explorers, educators, and storytellers.

As students progress through the program with assistance and guidance from a wide spectrum of National Geographic staff, interns discover what it’s like to help National Geographic achieve its mission to disclose and protect the marvels of the world.
