Is it hard to get an internship at Disney?

The Walt Disney Company is an American multinational mass media and entertainment conglomerate headquartered at the Walt Disney Studios complex in Burbank, California.

Disney offers unique internship programs for undergraduates and graduates students, the programs span four to seven months (with opportunities to extend up to one year), and allow participants to network with professionals throughout The Walt Disney Company, take part in Learning and Career Development Service, and live and work with people from all over the world.

While you work in your role, you will build transferable skills such as problem-solving, teamwork, guest service, and effective communication.

Is it hard to get an internship at Disney?

Well, the acceptance rate is around 1%-3%, so for most roles, it’s very hard. Of approximately 12,000 students that apply every year to the program, only about 20% get accepted as interns into the Disney College Program.

What is this? This means that roughly 2,400 applicants will be accepted out of 12,000.

This makes the application competitive and fierce. To increase your chances of getting accepted at Disney, you will need to put a lot of effort into your resume and interview process to showcase your capabilities.

You should make sure you meet the eligibility requirements, tailor your applications to programs that suit you best and have strong command or expertise. You can definitely apply for more than one position.
