The INROADS Internship Program works at the college level to prepare talented diverse students across the country for corporate readiness with business soft skills, real-world leadership development activities, academic and career support, and an opportunity for a paid internship.

Internship Opportunities are highly competitive.

There are opportunities available for Government internships and Healthcare Industry internships.

Government internships are Internship opportunities with various government agencies at the local, state, and federal levels. All college majors are welcome to apply. Some of our government agency partners include:

  • Department of Defense (DoD)
  • Bureau of Land Management (BLM)
  • National Credit Union and Administration (NCUA)
  • Office of the Comptroller and Currency (OCC)
  • Internal Revenue Services (IRS)
  • US Department of Treasury (DoT)

  • NASA

The healthcare industry internships on the other hand are designed for African American students who want to pursue healthcare administration and other healthcare-related careers.

This HBCU Health Equity Internship Program is offered in partnership with Propel Center and Black Directors Health Equity Agenda (BDHEA).

Eligibility Criteria and Qualifications

  • Full-time undergraduate student at an accredited college/university with at least 1 summer before graduating college
  • Cumulative Grade Point Average of 2.8 or higher*
  • Majors in the areas of Business, STEM, or Liberal Arts

*First Semester College Freshman should put 0.0 as their GPA in the application.
