How to apply for an internship on Facebook?

Facebook internships will provide undergraduate and graduate students with the opportunity to learn about the day-to-day operations of one of the world’s leading social media networks by being part of a dynamic workforce.

Interns will work closely with Meta/Facebook Mentors in their respective capacities to gain real-world work experience and on-the-job skills that will help propel them into successful careers.

The goal of the Facebook internship program is to inspire and motivate young people to achieve economic success, stability, and mobility through skills development and early career exploration in the tech industry.

The 2023 Meta Summer Academy internship will take place for six weeks from Tuesday, June 20, 2023, to Friday, July 28, 2023, for 30 hours per week. Interns can also earn an estimated $8,000 a month, making the Facebook internship the highest-paying internship.

Before students can apply for Facebook internships, they will have to be eligible and meet the basic requirements for the variety of Facebook internship programs.

Eligibility and Requirements:

  1. Applicants must be sophomores in high school during the 2022-2023 academic school year.
  2. Applicants must be full-year residents of either:
  3. East Palo Alto
  4. Belle Haven
  5. North Fair Oaks
  6. Redwood City

3. No prior work experience is necessary

4. Minimum 2.5 Cumulative GPA

How to apply for an internship on Facebook?

To apply for an internship on Facebook/Meta, you will need to:

  1.  Complete the application fully. Incomplete applications will not be accepted. In your online application, you will be required to:
  2. Submit a current transcript, which must include first semester grades from sophomore year
  3. Recommendation Form from a teacher, counsellor, school official, or community leader. Only one is required.

The application, transcript (including 1st-semester grades from 10th grade), and Recommendation Form are due on 1st March 2023 at midnight. Applications and documents submitted after the deadline will not be considered.

Students will have to submit their applications online. Please note that, If your school does not provide final grades twice a year, please attach a screenshot of your current grades along with your official transcript.
