  • BEng Electrical (Heavy Current)

  • BSc Architecture
  • BSc Quantity Surveying
  • BSc Town and Regional Planning
  • BCom Accounting
  • BCom Finance
  • BCom Information Systems
  • LLB Law

Eligibility Criteria:

There are many requirements for the eThekwini Municipality Bursary programme. Below are some of the eligibility requirements:

  • You have to be a South African citizen. The scheme will verify your citizenship through the documents you submit.
  • Have completed Matric OR currently in Matric.
  • Possess a strong academic record.
  • Be enrolled or accepted for full-time study in one of the specified fields of study.
  • Pursue or intend to pursue studies at a recognized public tertiary institution in South Africa.

  • The scholarship takes care of tuition and examination fees, accommodation fees, a book allowance, and a once-off computer allowance in the second year of study.
  • Internships and vacation work opportunities within the eThekwini Municipality.
  • Following completion, beneficiaries are expected to work for the eThekwini Municipality for a period equal to the duration of their bursary.
