Does SpaceX take interns?

The Hawthorne, California-based Space Exploration Technologies Corp. (SpaceX) is a company that produces satellites, launches rockets, and manufactures spacecraft.

Elon Musk established it in 2002 with the claimed intention of bringing down the price of space travel to make it possible to colonize Mars.

The business produces multiple rocket engines, the Cargo Dragon and Crew Dragon spacecraft, the Falcon 9, Falcon Heavy, and Starship launch vehicles, as well as Starlink communication satellites.

To deliver paid internet access, SpaceX is creating the Starlink satellite internet network. The Starlink constellation, which has more than 3,300 tiny satellites in orbit as of December 2022, surpassed all previous satellite constellation records when it was deployed in January 2020.

The business is also working on Starship, a completely recoverable, super heavy-lift launch vehicle for interplanetary and orbital travel that is being privately funded. Once operational, it will replace SpaceX’s current fleet of Falcon 9, Falcon Heavy, and Dragon as the company’s main orbital vehicle.

When it makes its debut in early 2023, subject to receiving a launch permit, it will have the biggest payload capacity of any orbital rocket ever built.
