ACUHO-I  is a professional in campus housing and resident life is given strength by the Association of College and University Housing Officers.

ACUHO-I summer internship eligibility and requirements

One of the most prominent and competitive internship options in student affairs is the ACUHO-I Residence Internship Program. The curriculum offers participants significant practical professional qualifications that they may use in their present academic studies.

In order for an applicant to be eligible for the 2023 ACUHO-1 summer internship program he/she is required to have the following :

  • Possess a bachelor’s degree or working toward a master’s in higher education, student affairs, or a closely related field
  • Background  knowledge  in university housing

Other Requirements 

  • Shown dedication to the community and student development
  • Proven understanding of, and aptitude for, interacting with, culturally diverse groups
  • Effective corporate and project management capabilities

All applicants can apply for the ACUHO-I Summer Internship program through the following steps 

  • Register for your  internship program using the ACUHO-I site
  • Candidates must provide a cover letter, a resume, or a CV, along with three professional references who should include their names, contact information (email, phone), and the nature of their employment (Applicant must be a recent or former supervisor).

Participants need complete payment of a $45 application fee, which includes a one-year subscription. You can apply without having to pay for a student membership.
